A method that makes sense. For body and mind.
An honest page about what we offer, where it comes from, what it is based on. Everything you'd want to know, explained without embellishment.
The ear as a map of the body.
A practice formalised in the West by a French physician, studied in hundreds of international publications, now used in leading European hospitals.
In the 1950s, French neurologist Paul Nogier (1908-1996) formalised an ancient intuition: the auricle has an organisation that somatotopically reflects the body's functions. By precisely stimulating specific points of the auricle, it is possible to promote processes of psychophysical rebalancing.
Since then, auricular reflexology has been studied and documented. In the West, the most widely cited academic reference is the manual by Terry Oleson PhD, "Auriculotherapy Manual: Chinese and Western Systems of Ear Acupuncture", now in its third edition and adopted as an international training text.
In Italy, the most authoritative reference is Dr Osvaldo Sponzilli, a surgeon who directs the Clinic of Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Reflexotherapy at Ospedale San Pietro Fatebenefratelli in Rome, and author of over twenty volumes including "Auricoloterapia — Diagnosi e applicazioni in agopuntura auricolare" (Tecniche Nuove).
A documented neural pathway.
Not Yin and Yang. Not energy. Anatomy.
The stimulation of auricular reflex points acts through a precise neural pathway: the auricular vagus nerve transmits signals to the nucleus of the solitary tract, a brainstem structure that modulates both the autonomic and central nervous systems. This pathway — referred to in the literature as the "auricolovagal afferent pathway" (AVAP) — is now documented and described in peer-reviewed publications.
On the experiential level, targeted stimulation may promote the endogenous release of endorphins — substances naturally produced by the body — which contribute to attenuating nicotine craving and regulating states of tension and anxiety typical of the withdrawal phase. This is why the meeting with the psychologist, during which the stimulation takes place, is the moment when body and mind work together.
Working only on the body or only on the mind is not enough. The strength of the programme lies in doing it at the same time, with the same person.
A precise, non-invasive technology.
A CE-certified device, built to international standards, calibrated in a personalised way.
We use a Kiroage Combigym XMULTI device in the version dedicated to nicotine cessation. It is classified as a CE class I device, compliant with European directives 93/42/EEC and MDR 2017/745, built to international EN 60601 standards and produced by a company certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. The device automatically identifies reflex points and calibrates micro-impulses based on the individual parameters of the person: age, weight, smoking history.

What this programme is not.
- It is not medical therapy and does not replace any evaluation or treatment by your doctor.
- It is not a pharmacological prescription: no medication is administered during the programme.
- It is not a miracle promise: personal motivation remains the determining factor.
- It is not suitable for everyone: certain specific clinical conditions exclude the use of the device (see below).
When the programme is not suitable
The device cannot be used in the presence of the following conditions:
- People with pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices
- Women who are pregnant
- People under 16 years of age
- People with epilepsy or serious heart conditions
- People with active tumours or other specific pathologies
In the presence of any particular clinical condition, we recommend consulting your doctor before undertaking the programme. During the initial introductory call we collect the necessary information to assess together whether the programme is suitable.
